Forensic expert- Hamas leader Sinwar’s death was caused by -shot to the head-

On October 19, CNN reported on the findings from the Israeli National Forensic Institute regarding the autopsy of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. According to Dr. Kugal, the chief pathologist, Sinwar died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Dr. Kugal noted that although Sinwar also sustained serious injuries from missile and tank shell attacks, the precise cause of death was indeed the gunshot wound, which resulted in “severe brain trauma.”

When asked for comments on Dr. Kugal’s findings, an Israeli military spokesman stated that there was an exchange of fire at the time, and subsequently, the Israeli forces fired a shell at the building where Sinwar was located. The spokesperson added that the military is still working to gather all the details surrounding the incident.

As of now, Hamas has not issued any response to the report.
