On October 23rd, the Tianjin Software Park officially opened, a project developed by the Tianjin Tedra Group and constructed by China Railway Construction Group. This park is pivotal for consolidating Tianjin’s advantage in the digital innovation industry and leading the digital transformation of the economy.
Interviewing representatives on-site, we learned that the opening day saw nearly 3,000 square meters of office space designated for business recruitment become operational within the park’s innovation center. The first floor features an Enterprise Service Center that includes seven major service areas: market access, approvals, taxation, construction, human resources, cultural tourism, and public security, all tailored to meet essential business needs.
Moreover, several companies, including Softcom and China Soft International, are preparing to set up their offices in the innovation center, marking the commencement of their operational segments. Additionally, parts of the Tedra Holdings digital innovation adaptation base have also begun operations, along with the release of the first version of the digital twin system.
We’re told that during the construction of the Tianjin Software Park, China Railway Construction Group implemented over 20 cutting-edge construction technologies and 19 lean construction techniques. Utilizing BIM technology for 4D construction management simulations ensured efficient support for facade installations, interior finishes, and pipeline layouts, establishing a strong foundation for the park’s launch.
Looking forward, the Tianjin Software Park aims to become a “source of software technology, an ecological zone for software companies, and a growth pole for the software industry.” It plans to establish a “3+N” industrial system led by advanced computing industries, fostering a variety of business types and creating multiple functional platforms. Supported by national policies, the park is positioned as a hub for software technology innovation. The development will be executed in phased implementations, with a focus on attracting renowned software firms, top-tier talent, and innovative teams to create an efficient, green, and intelligent industrial ecosystem.
